General Rules

code of conduct

For Players

  • Sportsmanship: Exhibit good sportsmanship by respecting opponents, officials, and      teammates.
  • Respect: Treat all individuals with respect, regardless of their background or beliefs.
  • Effort: Strive to give your best effort in every game and practice.
  • Teamwork: Work cooperatively with your teammates to achieve your goals.
  • Following Rules: Adhere to all rules and regulations set forth by the league and      coach.

For Coaches

  • Positive Role Model: Serve as a positive role model for your players, demonstrating good sportsmanship and ethical behavior.
  • Fair Play: Ensure fair play and equal opportunities for all players.
  • Respectful Communication: Communicate with players and officials in a respectful      and professional manner.
  • Safety First: Prioritize the safety and well-being of your players.
  • Enforce Rules: Enforce team rules and league rules consistently.

For Fans

  • Respectful Behavior: Conduct yourself in a respectful manner, avoiding foul      language, disruptive behavior, or harassment.
  • Support Your Team: Cheer for your team in a positive and supportive way.
  • Respect Opponents: Show respect for opposing teams and their fans.
  • Follow Rules: Adhere to all stadium/park rules and regulations.


Violations may result in removal of the game, season, and/or league. 

Stadium & Parks

No Alcohol, Park in designated areas, Respect all facilities, Children must be supervised at all times. Please clean up the dugout at the end of each game, report any issues to league/board members.

Make-up games

Rescheduling: The decision to reschedule a game will be made by league officials or board members. All attempts will be made to reschedule. 

Time Limits: There may be time limits imposed on makeup games, especially if they are played on days when other games are scheduled.

Doubleheaders: If a makeup game cannot be completed in one day, it may be scheduled as a doubleheader.

Weather: If weather conditions become unfavorable during a makeup game, it may be suspended and resumed at a later time.

Tie Games: In some cases, if a makeup game ends in a tie, it may be declared a "tie" or replayed at a later date.

Playoffs: Makeup games involving playoff teams may be given priority in the scheduling process.

cancellations

Deadline to report game cancellation is thursday 6:00 pm. Penalty to report on time will result in a forfeit.  

appeals

All appeals must be challenged at the time of the infraction, prior to the next pitch. 

game time: 2 hours 30 minutes

No new innings after 2 Hours 30 of official game time.

play-off & championship eligibility

Eligible players must have played 50% of the season in order to play.

college/pro league players

Players can only play in 18 AAA division

uniforms

Each player must wear a visible, unique number on the back of their jersey. Must be solid color, contrasting any other colors.

mercy rule

Anytime a team is winning by 20+ runs after 3rd inning or 15+ runs after 4 innings will activate the mercy rule.

Game Rules

Bats:

  • Must be made of wood, such as ash, maple, or hickory. BBcor -3 will be allowed until the end of 2024. 2025 and forward will require all wood bats.


Balls:

  • Must be leather bound. NFHS standard or above (SEI or NOCSAE stamp on ball meets the standard).


Helmets:

  • Must be made of a hard outer shell and a shock-absorbing liner.


Catcher Gear: 

  • Chest Protector
  • Shin Guards
  • Full coverage helmet (Top, Ears and Back must be fully covered)
  • Protective Cup


Uniforms:

  • Pitcher: A pitcher shall not wear any      item on the hands, wrists or arms which may be distracting to the batter.      A pitcher shall not wear white or gray exposed undershirt sleeves or any      white or gray sleeve that extends below the elbow.
  • Shoes: Must be appropriate for      baseball and provide adequate support and protection.


Game Time


Pre-Game:

  • 15 Minute Grace period from scheduled game time (Grace period will reduce actual playing time).
  • After 15 minutes, the ineligible team will take a forfeit.
  • No borrowed players.
  • 8 players minimum on each team at all times.
  • Pinch runners on lineup card.
  • Roster & Lineup submitted & exchanged.
  • 3 approved baseballs by each team provided to ump. (2 pearls, 1 good ball).
  • Umpire fees collected.


In-Game: (Modified NFHS Rules)


Scoring:

  • At the end of each inning both      team managers must report and verify runs and total score. 

Pitcher:

  • 5 hit batters, immediate removal from the mound. May continue to play any other position.

Fielders:

  • No fake tags allowed at any base during live game.

  1. 1st offense – Penalty + Warning to player and team manager. Umpires will determine which base, or bases, shall be awarded to the base runners.
  2. 2nd offense – Penalty + Ejection to player and team manager. Umpires will determine which base, or bases, shall be awarded to the base runners. The offending player and team manager will be ejected. 

Runners: 

  • Pinch runners must be designated on the line-up pre-game or whoever was the last out.
  • Pinch runner is mandatory for catcher when on base with 2 outs.
  • Pinch runners may run for an injured player, the injured player will be removed from the lineup at the time of replacement.
